Right Barsonnian, and remember to check the EDGE forum regularly and actually do your duties as co-leader (including enforcing the EDGE Code of Honor *hint* *hint*), I'd hate to see the last fleet I was in get a bad reputation because of lack of management. You dont obviously know the history of EDGE, U only participated in EDGE for about less than 1 month... I was in EDGE until it was only 3 members left... and yes, I am talking about the old EDGE, I miss it and it is not what it is now... I respected EDGE until it was brought up by someone who fukin lames... SO EDGE means shlt to me always will. So your point being? I'm talking about this current EDGE not the EDGE of history.

And I did mention the other EDGE that was tried to be brought up again by ring... and has fallen already... now hes trying again... EDGE already has a fuking bad rep... that is my fuking point.
It has no respect by the highest vet's I know of...

Depends on how you define vet. If you define vet as being the person ranked #1 on the Nexus, then Deity Skillet would be a vet, and he most certainly does respect EDGE.

Ok listen Skillet is a vet. He may not be respected but he is a vet. Now get over it!
I recognize EDGE as a fleet especially with a war, a decent war, taking place. It may only be around for an obscure amount of time but C'est la vie.

High ranks don't count as vets its how long you been here and how much respect you got. Skillet on the other hand fuk off from him

Yes that is true. Again I give the example of me being lower ranked that Albert but more respected. However Skillet, I know you don't like him, is sort of an exception. He may cheat or whatever but when it comes down to it he is number one on the list. I don't think that being number 1 is that important but it has to be recognized that he is a vet, if we want to say he is or not. So is Mars. I am wavering on the idea about Albert being one or not. I'll get back to you on that.

Mars is also a vet. He cheats but he is a vet. He isn't respected because of what he does but he is a vet. Is also because Skillet cheats and he is a vet.

Rank in SF means bullocks in determining vet status or not, I mean Viper_r678910 is now a Fleet Admiral (blah) and no one considers him a vet. In my opinion judging vet status involves considering playing time (frequency of playing, total time playing, dedication to playing, etc.) as well as knowledge of the game and its details.

Even I partially agree. I am saying that rank doesn't mean anything BUT you do have to identify when someone is even when you don't like it. Skillet is, Mars is, still trying to decide if AlbertWong is (or not).

Ask Mars what he thinks. Hitler - sorry - I mean Duke (;D) just because you have been in SF since v.75 doesn't mean anything. A vet is a comparative term. I can understand rank doesn't mean very much but it helps. I want to know who you would consider a vet. How many of them are your allies or friends?

Lol Viper achieved Flt.Adm. the same way, in 2 days. He set up his own server and had arranged an assured 1000-point bonus each conquer and basically was in there by himself.

Lol Duke recently I find myself agreeing more and more with you. I guess all vets come to think alike sooner or later. Remember how you said you asked a lot of people to join KOA who you previously wouldn't have asked, because KOA needed active members badly? And remember how that was the only reason I was let in KOA? Well I'm finding the same thing with Storm now. Diego and I are having to recruit a lot of people we normally wouldn't have recruited, just because Storm needs members really badly.
