This list has been on my forum for ever. The only difference that it currently has is that We are on it.

There better? I am pretty sure that most fleets on that list are dead fleets that will not be comming back but I would have said that about EDGE and well..
Most fleets on that list are gone for good but not all of them. For a time KOA was on this list.

Yeah but KoA is always around even if they aren't playing...

Yes but around and not playing classifies as INactive but still around. I mean they aren't a dead fleet because they resurface but they are inactive. I imagine that KOA will become inactive again at some point in the future. Can't say when and this time may be different but I've seen them come and go. To faze in and out is the way of the KOA. Dude - that rhymed!

Right Barsonnian, and remember to check the EDGE forum regularly and actually do your duties as co-leader (including enforcing the EDGE Code of Honor *hint* *hint*), I'd hate to see the last fleet I was in get a bad reputation because of lack of management.

To faze in and out is the way of the KOA. Dude Tovec............ KOA has never "fazed out" as you put it, we have always been here ( - I sound like a Vorlon now lol) and will always be here. Even during the times when KOA was not very visible in servers we were still "playing" SF in another sense - e.g., SFServer spends most of his time playing with modding and SF coding - that IS playing SF, just not playing in the traditional sense, but playing nonetheless.

Ok Albert this is not going to turn into a slam fest but I can so see it going there..
KOA is old - yes and it is respected! BUT
It is not always Active on SF. It may be Active on SF fansites, upgrading, modding, etc. It is a fleet with next to zero pilot increase. Meaning that it has few new members. I get that once a Knight always a Knight, to a sense, but they are a small fleet of super elites and always have been. When the leaders stop playing SF (actual game online) then the fleet goes in a small inactivity period. They play in waves, fazes or whatever!
I know that this may make me sound like Gohan and I frankly don't care if you get offended Albert, I have played SF for 6 years (as much as I could) I have seen Fleets come and go and I have seen it all! I realize that I am not the oldest in SF. Duke_Name obviously has played more than I have and so have all the vets(aka leaders of KOA) but in this sense it doesn't matter. I have seen KOA play off and on and off and on for a looooong time. You have seen them come back from obscurity, again, once. I get that it is cool and all but part of the reason I don't want to be in KOA is because of this. I love the old fleets and old style fleet gaming but KOA comes and goes. They may always exist but I need to be always active. I just want to see what happens when KOA goes semi-inactive again. I know it is comming I don't know how long it will be but I do know that it will happen. I want to see what will happen when they do. Albert, you are a 'new' fleet style player. You stick with what is hot. I get that this isn't a new concept but I do wonder what will happen when all the KOA's start to not play SF, except Duke, and you are there going: Ok now what do I do?

You dont obviously know the history of EDGE, U only participated in EDGE for about less than 1 month... I was in EDGE until it was only 3 members left... and yes, I am talking about the old EDGE, I miss it and it is not what it is now... I respected EDGE until it was brought up by someone who fukin lames... SO EDGE means shlt to me always will.
