I am hosting a server that I'll try to keep online majority of the time that's currently under the IP of 192.168.2.2 that SIN could use for training

Firewall is off, are you able to accsess the server? Yes we do but it never seems to be properly organized and done. I have tried. Um, I tried getting in before and I couldn't. I'm busy right now but I'll try again a bit later - make sure the IP is correct please. Actually if I read those kills/deaths properly then we didn't do too well, especially Thunderlord vs. Albert (nice) and Geoff against Sandtrooper (over and over!).

Yes, it is the correct IP, would it have anything to do w/ the fact that I connect through a Router?

What? Nobody knows how to go to DOS prompt and use ipconfig? Or netstat?

Not everyone's a computer nerd like you are, ATC! j/k Still, I maintain that a Google search like Sandtrooper has outlined above is the easiest and maybe fastest way to find your IP.

What? Nobody knows how to go to DOS prompt and use ipconfig? Or netstat? DOS prompt (or really just MS-DOS) displays my network IP.

Google steps 1: Open browser 2: Go to google 3: Search 'IP' 4: find correct link (5: Profit?) Dos steps. 1: open dos prompt screen 2: Type in 'ipconfig' and press enter. How much easier does that get? Any easier and it would have to be a function macro linked to an icon. (Actually, that sounds like a good idea to me...)

I set my PC up as the DMZ open on the router firewall. Makes things much less complicated. I've got a laptop, and my mother's PC on this router, but those never need the DMZ permissions. (In short, the DMZ acts as the BOSS network computer and has open access to the actual internet IP instantly, the other PCs in the network are given the router's network addresses.)
