Albert please give me a fleet description. I don't care if you want to copy and paste the one from the stardock page.

I realize this has little to do with the said topic but;
Tovec, do you really consider this a legit fleet? I honestly don't recognize it as a fleet. I see this so-called fleet like any other asshole who decides to throw on a fleet tag claiming to be in the fleet when they are not. I see no difference at all.

Oh so if I throw on an OE or SIN tag, I'm automatically part of the fleet? How about someone claiming to be a citizen of a country? Or maybe saying that I'm the master of the world?
I guess by your arguement, I can say I'm anything and it is true

Unfortunately Blackdog I don't see anyway around it. He did get approval from My_Name giving him 2/3 of the founding fleet leader approval. If you can find some other reason to bar him then go ahead but at the moment I have to legitimize it.

Hardly, it was a simple rebuttal to your ridiculous statement. I do not see how it was immature.
Perhaps the response had a bit more bite than you expected. I think it got my point across however.

Albert please give me a fleet description. I don't care if you want to copy and paste the one from the stardock page. Yup, I think that one will do. Here it is again. The original VIP fleet consisted of some of the best, most dedicated, and most skilled veterans ever to fly in Stellar Frontier. When it was active, it was one of the strongest fleets in SF, smashing through all other fleets in SF, including such renowned veteran fleets as KOA, to lead in Fleet War 2004. VIP has recently been resurrected to function as an enduring symbol of skill and dedication, setting a high standard for new players to aspire to, and, as one of the only remaining active veteran fleets, serving to recognize and reward the perseverance of remaining old players. BTW - I have no Moderator powers here whatsoever.

Well, the description is the goal of my VIP.
Also, PAIN currently has 2 members as well. So VIP isn't all that small.

Your description for VIP is false, how many times do i have to tell you that. Not everyone was a vet in VIP, and they where not the best fleet.

I agree with Psiko... I did have 2 players that weren't vets but good enough to kill off EDGE players... But then again Albert is calling himself a vet when really he is a noob.

comparing to sin its small I'm not denying that. But then, VIP is a different kind of fleet than SIN is, with different philosophies, purposes, and goals. The definition of vet I'm using for VIP purposes is someone who's played SF continuously for over one year, and who knows quite a bit about the ins and outs of the game.

Ok. Um.. to go in order.
Albert, you were never meant to have moderator powers. This is just meant in the case of a Maintenance shutdown. This would still allow you to come in. I'm thinking ahead.
Next, VIP is small. By most standards SIN is small. By current standard SIN is large. VIP is small by all standards. This is reguardless of the philosophies of a fleet. It doesn't matter how a fleet is organized.
And, Albert, if you say one more time that VIP is more elite then SIN; I will personally target you.

kk.... when the heck did I say that VIP is more 'elite' than SIN? I just said it's a different kind of fleet, and that's true - VIP, for example, doesn't engage in alliances or fight wars. We also don't have ranks.

Thats all good but where are you going to find vet players who will join your fleet. Last i checked most of the vet players hate your guts lol. The only people who don't know your past are the noobs, shouldn't you be recruiting them. And there aren't that many active players that have played for a full year. So your just going to be a one man fleet, i won't really call that a fleet and you shouldn't get any recognition as a fleet.
<=========== I have the coolest Avatar
From MSN Encarta fleet [ fleet ] (plural fleets) Definitions: 1. group of naval ships: a number of warships functioning as a single unit under one command, or all the ships of a nation's navy
2. vehicles or craft under single ownership: a number of road vehicles, boats, or aircraft owned, working, or managed as a unit, usually by a commercial enterprise The company has a large fleet of service vehicles.
[ Old English flçot "ships" < flçotan "to float, swim" < Germanic]
P.S. Instead of VIP you should change the name to NIP (Noobs In Play). Cause thats what you are, and those are the only players you'll find to join your fleet LOL.
