Now the question comes down to, which ships and setups will be allowed in the Tournament? Havik and I discussed this in Sandtrooper's server in SF yesterday, and he felt that the best thing to do would be to limit everyone to Marauders (since SF is now free, availability of Stellar Aces access is not a concern), with no Starbases to allow refitting and no debris to allow switching out weapons or systems.
Now what of the setup of the Marauders? He said that there should be 3 different Marauder weapon setups/combinations, one to be decided by the Leader(s) of each of the three participating fleets. So there would be one "SIN" setup, one "ACE" setup, and one "TRIBE" setup.
I'm of the opinion that the other systems on the Marauders should be default to minimize lag. I.e. only the 4 weapons tubes can be customized for the three setups. Other systems should remain as their defaults and should be un-alterable.
So each Marauder setup would be:
power:5 shield:4 engine:3 qdrive:3 sensor:3 boost:3 cloak tractor [1] [2] [3] [4]
Where [1], [2], [3], [4] can be customized for each of the three setups.
I also feel that weapons and their strengths and volume should be as they are in standard SF. For example, it should be impossible to put a rapid2 or laserIII weapon in a Marauder.

gonna be need the information sooner the better, because I think a few requests were made , to practise on the server or. get used to the ships. but still.
