Albert AIMed me up and suggested I join the board and chat with the ol' boys. So where's the fire? Who do you want me to kill? Is skillet really being evil these days? I have just the thing to handle rampaging hackers...

And... looking at the names of the people making topics... I don't think very many people will know me, let alone recognize my name. Albert! I've a bunch of people staring at me... and you're not introducing me...

I'll always remember the ATC Good ol' NiteHawk! To those of you who haven't heard of the great Admiral TigerClaw: He is one of the highly esteemed Stellar Frontier veterans of old. What does "old" mean? A rough definition (for purposes of this board) is, "waay before Gohan's ACE." Admiral TigerClaw is the renowned leader of the Arcean Leaders League, which briefly was one of the most powerful fleets in SF. (The exact reasons behind its abrupt demise are not known, but sabotage or uncontrolled growth have been the 2 main culprits fingered). He himself is a great fighter and very knowledgeable about SF. He is basically a good guy and is willing to help others out... he doesn't just rush newbies with flames on auto like Barsonnian does. (Well, at least I hope ATC doesn't... I haven't actually had the privilege of observing him for lengthy periods of time in SF in action!) Any questions you can ask either me, or he'll be able to provide a better answer, actually! Now, Banjo, put your server back up, and let's all WELCOME ADMIRAL TIGERCLAW back to SF LAND!!! P.S. - Glad you registered ATC. That indicates a level of commitment that is heartening to see.

I haven't actually had the privilege of observing him for lengthy periods of time in SF in action! Usually because you were toasted within the first minute or so of engaging me in combat I believe. And no, I tended not to rush newbies... I tended to wait for them to attack, dance with them... and then when I got bored with it, salvo them to death. As for playing... I probably won't... (I've got the ol' game archived 'round here somewhere... but I'm probably not going to play it.) I'm more of an X3 and BF2142 player now. (X3 rocks, but there's no multiplayer action in it... Still.... build your own empire of ships and stations in a fully interactive 3D universe sim... MUAHAHAHA! I love dogfights.) PS: For the last time SFwebmaster... Tigerclaw is ALL ONE WORD. How many times do I have to repeat myself this century?

Usually because you were toasted within the first minute or so of engaging me in combat I believe. Ha! You wish! And no, I tended not to rush newbies... I tended to wait for them to attack, dance with them... and then when I got bored with it, salvo them to death. Yup, that sounds like what I do too. ;D Aww... geez. Common, come back to SF. Sure, whatever you say, Admiral... TigerClaw! OK, Tigerclaw.

Wow, yeah i remember you tigerclaw. You obviously haven't met albert. Every six months or so he convinces some old SFer like silence or something to "come back" then he takes credit for them coming back.
He basically just stalks them and spends weeks searching old dead archives/forums for AIM details and then pumps them for information he passess off as first hand.
Stardock cut off the official nexus, and before that skillet hacked pretty much everyones data with alberts help. All it is now is a fan run nexus with an occasional server and like 3-4 guys who cant let it die.
Nice to hear from you again after ...however many years, but sorry you had to meet albert.

Every six months or so he convinces some old SFer like silence or something to "come back" then he takes credit for them coming back. ... I do my part to help SF continue to live. If I convince someone to come back, I say it. It's not a matter of taking credit or whatnot, it's a matter of letting others know that so-and-so has decided to do another tour in SF. He basically just stalks them and spends weeks searching old dead archives/forums for AIM details and then pumps them for information he passess off as first hand. ... Stardock cut off the official nexus, and before that skillet hacked pretty much everyones data with alberts help. This is getting old. It should be obvious by now that I was not in league with Skillet nor have I ever been. Seriously, STFU on this already. All it is now is a fan run nexus with an occasional server and like 3-4 guys who cant let it die. Actually, Banjo's Sol System server is up 24/7. Nice to hear from you again after ...however many years, but sorry you had to meet albert. Grow up and quit obsessing about me.

One server? Your pridefull accomplishment is managing to have a single place to play available? Anyone modding? Anyone even playing half the time? Hows the lag? Prevent basic gameplay? New content? I'm assuming you hit "O" then "J" then some arrow keys and "J" and thats the end?
And i am not obsessing about you, i left for two years. Some starport guys caught me when i checked up there that you guys were still in a little bubble pretending SF was totally awesome, and you especially wont leave because you have some emotional insecurity that causes you to latch on with a death grip to any form of authority you can get. (Fleet leads/webmaster over a dead game)
Last time i even played SF was when you helped skillet hack everyones characters, and everyone you disliked "magically" became the target of your best buddy (skillets) hacking. I probably even have the server logs to prove you two were best hacking pals on my old machine that i used to mod/ run servers on.

One server? Your pridefull accomplishment is managing to have a single place to play available? Excuse me - my "pridefull accomplishment?" The server isn't mine nor have I ever taken credit for creating or hosting it. It's run by a player called Banjo who has dedicated a lot of time to building a safe server that's been able to stand up to its share of hacking attacks (presumably courtesy of Skillet). Make no mistake, his server although it is on the surface merely a modified Sol System (modified in the sense that Pirates get an AI starbase, Triton, and one extra asteroid colony and are able to refit), is really leaps and bounds above other/standard SF servers in terms of security. And having "a single place to play available" that is up reliably, 24/7, is by no means a small feat. After all, even back when you were running your ACE, we only really had a single usable server up 24/7 (sure, we had the other server run by JohnnySokko but it wasn't like anyone could get in, most of the time) - i.e. Plain Old Sol run by Skillet. Back then we occasionally had other people put up servers for a few hours; we do have the same again today in SF. I probably even have the server logs to prove you two were best hacking pals on my old machine that i used to mod/ run servers on. Listen. No one's forcing you to come back to SF. If you've really moved on as you insist, you would not be still here. You would not still be harassing and yes, obsessing over me. (You can claim whatever you want but your post above clearly indicates your continuing obsession over me.) If you have nothing better to say, really, no offense but STFU. We're trying to rebuild a SF community here and you're not helping.
