The Boost-bug has been used since the hay day of SF. The Dev's known about it and never fixed it, so is it a bug or the game working as intended.

Just because it's there doesn't mean it isn't a bug and that players should use it. The fact that it's there simply demonstrates that the developers never got around to fixing it and removing the bug. The same applies for the F9 bug: it's as much a part of the game as the boost bug is. It still doesn't mean it's acceptable to use either bug in game.

Got a newsflash for some of you. The well known bugs such as the F9, and boost bug aren't going away. Acceptability is not an excuse when the other guy starts using it. You either need to be good enough to deal with the bug and defeat it, or utilize it yourself. But whining about it shows precisely JACK for your ability to adapt and defeat superior odds.
I miss the Qpark bug though. Could be abused... but it was useful when you had to go cook something or go use the bathroom.

v. 1.2rc5 still has Qpark.
Albert you have access to stardock nexus right? Can you check an account for me? Thunderlord.

What do you want to know about Thunderlord's account, Tovec?
I'd need to talk to Kris and get him to turn it on again - we actually shut down the machine itself (no need for it to be online) a few months after the nexus was permanently disabled.
ATC, I'm not whining about either the F9 or the boost bugs. I am simply pointing out that just because the bugs exist doesn't mean that we should allow people to bug away in game or in Tournaments. For example, it is possible to cheat in Continuum as well - I've seen it myself. That doesn't make it legal to cheat in Continuum - cheaters get kicked and even permanently banned.
In SF, in servers where I am a DEV, I follow a policy of [one] warning and then kicking people who F9 bug. I believe Dongle and Sandtrooper also follow a similar policy.

I wanted to get his stats to transfer onto SFDC. It slipped my mind earlier to ask you if you could get me his stats from the Stardock nexus.

What's new around here guys? Sorry, haven't been on much lately. I miss anything exciting, like a new update for SF? Oh, HA! I kill myself.

I wanted to get his stats to transfer onto SFDC. It slipped my mind earlier to ask you if you could get me his stats from the Stardock nexus. I 'spose I could. I think the main issue with transferring stats to SFDC these days is actually getting someone at SFDC (namely, SFServer) to do the transferring. I've wanted two of my SFDC accounts combined for months and SFServer is still, apparently, nowhere to be found.
